R K Contracting is run by Rimu out of Port Motueka, working across Nelson, Tasman and Golden Bay. It is a hands on operation, so the person who quotes your job is the person who turns up and runs the machine.
The gear has been built up around the work this region actually needs. Excavators from 2.7 tonne up to 22 tonne, a fixed tooth heavy duty forestry mulcher for gorse and scrub, and a tractor mounted boom mower for hedges, banks, ditches and forestry roads. That range means we can take on a tight back section one week and a farm block the next without compromising on either.

We look at the site
For anything bigger we walk the site with you. Where the spoil goes, how water runs off afterwards and how we get the machine in all get sorted before we start.
Job done, site tidy
We work through it, keep you posted, and leave the ground in a state you can use. If we spot something that will cause you grief later, we will tell you.
